About D1R Solutions

“D1R” comes from Det One Raider, the USMC initial force contribution to the US Special Operations Command formed as a result of 9/11. Craig served as the Executive Officer for the formation and training of this historic effort for the Marine Corps in SOF, and then as Commander of DET One, known as ‘Task Unit Raider’ under Naval Special Warfare Task Group – Arabian Peninsula operating out of Baghdad, Iraq in 2004. Det One adopted the ‘Raider’ name in honor of the WWII Marine Raiders who were among the first to fight the Japanese in the Pacific Campaign. This experience significantly shaped Craig’s approach to leadership, teamwork, operations management, and strategic thinking. Known as the consummate team player and as a “hard-working blue-collar professional”, Craig uses his humble, genuine, and personable approach to effectively lead, train, and advise.
